Seller Policy for SideB Marketplace

Seller Obligations

As a Seller on SideB, you agree to:

  • Provide truthful, accurate, and comprehensive descriptions and images of listed vinyl records.
  • Clearly state pricing, shipping costs, and applicable taxes.
  • Provide Shipping and Returns & Refunds Policies via the Seller dashboard.
  • Maintain accurate inventory status.
  • Respond promptly to buyer inquiries and communications.

Listings and Content

  • Listings must accurately represent the item’s condition, authenticity, and availability.
  • SideB reserves the right to remove or modify listings that violate our Terms & Conditions or other policies.

Shipping

  • Ship items promptly within the timeframe specified in your listing.
  • Use reliable shipping methods with appropriate packaging to avoid damage during transit. We advise to take photos of your packaging before sending.
  • Provide tracking information to buyers when available.

Returns and Refunds

  • Clearly define your return and refund policy within your listings.
  • Promptly resolve any issues regarding returns or refunds directly with buyers.
  • Cooperate with SideB if mediation is required.

Fees and Payments

  • You agree to SideB’s commission fee structure: 1.5% per sale plus payment processing fees (2.9% + 30 cents per transaction).
  • Fees will automatically be deducted from sale proceeds.

Compliance

  • Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Respect the intellectual property rights of others.

Buyer Responsibilities

  • Review item descriptions, conditions, seller policies, and shipping details carefully before purchasing.
  • Communicate directly with the seller to resolve any issues.
  • Report unresolved disputes to SideB within 30 days of purchase.
  • If damage is apparent take photos for the seller.

Dispute Resolution

  • Contact the seller directly to attempt to resolve any issues.
  • If a resolution is not reached, contact SideB support. We will mediate disputes but cannot guarantee outcomes.
  • Provide documentation and evidence of disputes (e.g., photographs, communication history).

Refunds

  • Refunds will be issued according to the seller’s stated return policy.

Limitations

  • Buyer Protection does not cover buyer remorse or items accurately described but no longer wanted.
